Professor Illeris, an internationally recognised scholar, was employed at RUC from 1972, when the university commenced. He has published many books and articles in Danish and English about project-work and learning. He talked about the significance of drive and engagement as a necessity of learning, and how this drive has particularly good conditions in problem-oriented project-learning. He congratulated the university for instituting RUC-PPL.
