International Studies is a subject that you will study as a part of your bachelor programme at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University. You can study International Studies as a single-subject bachelor's degree or combined with other subjects.

Developing sustainable energy, fighting disinformation, building diplomatic relations to resolve conflicts – most countries face these crucial tasks, but no country can take them on alone. The great challenges of the future can only be tackled in an international setting, and to do so, you need to understand the intricate web of global relations, rules, and dilemmas that shape our world. This is what we teach you at International Studies.

At the bachelor subject International Studies, you will learn about global norms, politics, and economics, and you will acquire the tools to analyse a variety of international issues, from Danish foreign policy to the shifting power relations between the Global North and South. 

International Studies at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University is rooted firmly in the social sciences, combining sociology, political economy, and international politics. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 have a special emphasis on the European Union and constantly update our curriculum to match current developments in the world. As a student, you will study subjects such as the role of states and other international actors, the limits and possibilities of the EU, and structural inequalities on a global level.

All teaching and project writing is conducted in English.

Daily life while studying

The study environment at International Studies is - indeed, international. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 have students from all over the world, which creates a diverse atmosphere. You will encounter people with different perspectives on the world than yours, and through your communities, you will make new friends and gain valuable experiences for the professional life that awaits you.

You will also meet a group of dedicated teachers who are always open to questions or a good academic discussion. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 regularly host events where we discuss global security, for example, or recreate the latest COP conference with students in the role of representatives from different countries. 

A few times each semester, you can attend the International Studies Space, where we also cover aspects of student life and discuss, for instance, how to best prepare for an oral exam or handle challenges with work pressure. And of course, there are Friday bars, parties, and all the other things that come with student life.

From bachelor to master

A bachelor's degree from 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University will provide access to study a master's programme. Depending on which subject(s) you choose as a part of your bachelor's programme, your degree will provide access to one or more of 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University's master's programmes.
