Centre for Gender, Power and Diversity
兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 conduct interdisciplinary problem-oriented gender studies within a diversity perspective. The research centre is a meeting place for students, researchers and practitioners who are interested in interdisciplinary problem-oriented gender studies. The activities of the centre are open to all interested stakeholders, internally at 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 University as well as externally. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 offer courses in gender theory as well as supervision and other teaching activities that include gender and diversity perspectives.
Four purposes
- To offer a community for gender and diversity researchers at RUC in which to discuss and qualify our research and research applications as well as develop new courses and other teaching activities.
- To host open activities and evens concerning current gender issues at which we present RUC-based research and engage in dialogue with relevant external research environments as well as with a wide array of stakeholders.
- To create a meeting place for students who are interested in gender and diversity, offering those students opportunities for dialogue with researchers and teachers as well as the possibility to present their own projects.
- To promote equality and diversity – at RUC, in the Danish context and internationally.
Your options
As a researcher and teacher at RUC, you can present your research or participate in collegial discussions at our monthly Gender Lunch. 兴发娱乐官网手机版客户端 also offer support for seminars and workshops at which you can present your research or invite researchers form other universities. You can participate in discussions pertaining to teaching and learning from the perspectives of gender and diversity, and you can become involved in course development.
As a student at RUC, you can present your gender and/or diversity related project work and receive feedback. You have the opportunity to talk to your teachers in a smaller forum and to strengthen your network – within academia and beyond.
As a practitioners, student or researcher who is not at RUC, you can participate in all our public events and contact individual researchers for potential collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The Centre for Gender, Power And Diversity takes part in a number of research projects. An example is:
Nordic Network: A care crisis in the women-friendly welfare states?
The Nordic Network on Care Crisis (NNCC) supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers through NIKK has run between 2017-2020. The network was an interdisciplinary collaborationwith participation of economists, political scientists, and sociologists.
