A Make-a-thon-day with focus on development of concrete projects. The best ideas are presented to the university leadership, who will choose initiatives for further development. Afterwards there will be a social event.

The role and responsibility of the universities in society includes sustainability, and universities should be a place where sustainability in its entirety – environmental, social, and economic – is researched and experimented with.
As the university of the Region Zealand, RUC has a special responsibility to inspire the citizens, institutions and businesses of the region to organise in alternative and sustainable ways. Therefore, our ambition is to make the spring semester 2026 the start of and including process, where students, employees and the local community in collaboration with the leadership and the entire organisation has the opportunity to initiate initiatives for a more sustainable campus.
