Call for paper and panel proposals

    The Nordic Association for European Studies (NAES) is currently accepting paper and panel proposals for its panel at the upcoming biennial conference of the European Community Studies Association of Canada (ECSA-C). The conference will take place in Victoria, British Columbia from May 14 to 16, 2026.

    Preference will be given to complete panel proposals dedicated to a European-studies theme with an identifiable Nordic angle, but individual paper proposals will also be considered.

    Full panel proposals should include

    • a panel title
    • a short panel abstract (300 – 500 words)
    • the names and institutional affiliations of all participating authors
    • the titles and abstracts of at least 4-5 papers

    Individual proposals should include

    • the names and institutional affiliations of the participating authors
    • the proposed paper title
    • a paper abstract (around 300 words)

    Deadline for proposals: October 15, 2025.
